Parish Pages - Brecon, St John - Maps

The map below shows the parish of Brecon St John and its boundaries (in red). The green line marks the border between the two divisions of the parish. To the north and west of the line is Venny-Fach, to the east and south of the line is St John the Evangelist. The small region bounded by a green line in the centre of Brecon is Castle Inn extra-parochial area. The map is based on an Ordnance Survey map from the 1940s, and adapted from the version produced by Kain and Oliver for their work "Historic Parishes of England & Wales":
[KAIN, Roger J. P., and OLIVER, Richard R. (2001) Historic Parishes of England & Wales, History Data Service, University of Essex, Colchester. ISBN 0-9540032-0-9]
